New to craps? The 60-second version
Put chips on the Pass Line and roll. First roll is the come-out: 7 or 11 wins instantly, 2, 3 or 12 loses. Any other number becomes the point — hit it again before a 7 and the line pays. Once the point is on, back your line with odds (true odds, the best bet in the house), and use the selector above the numbers: Place a number to bet it repeats, Buy it for true odds less a 5% vig, or Lay against it — the lay wins when the 7 shows first. A Come bet is a fresh pass-line ride mid-hand: it wins on 7·11, then travels to whatever number rolls. The Field and the side bets below (hardways, Any 7, Yo, craps numbers) resolve fast and pay big.
Know the odds — house edge cheat sheet
House edge is the casino’s average cut of every credit you bet; RTP (return to player) is the flip side — a 1.41% edge means 98.59% RTP. Same dice, very different prices:

The strategy writes itself: live on the line + max odds, add Place 6/8 or Buy 4/10 when you want more action, and treat everything below the Field as entertainment you’re paying a premium for. These are the same odds a real Vegas table charges — practice reading them here, for free.
